One of the first thoughts that might have come to mind upon learning that you have a cheating husband is "how do I get even?" It's a very human reaction and one that is more common than you'd probably realize. To be completely honest though some women wonder about getting even only after entertaining thoughts about how to break every bone in his body and making it look like an accident. I have to say that would be one impressive "accident."

Seeing that revenge is best served cold, it's probably a good idea to let it simmer in the back of your mind for a while and think of other things in the meantime. For now you have so many better things to worry about than trying to figure out how to turn the tables on a cheating husband.

What should you be worrying about instead of getting the revenge you so richly deserve?

1) Figuring out how you will be able to face yourself in the mirror afterwards. Revenge can be sweet but it can also be a very bitter pill to swallow. Not everyone is able to pull it off without suffering some serious personal blowback as a result. The hardest thing about revenge is always living with the fallout - for most women that means living with yourself after you've exacted your revenge. No matter how tempting it might seem for most women it does exactly the opposite of what is expected.

2) Are you sure you want revenge instead of trying to work things out? There is no room for ambivalence when it comes to creating the perfect revenge scenario. If you are intent on getting even with your husband then you have to do it all the way. Some women are more than capable of going all out to get revenge on their husbands. The odds are good that these women either didn't really love their husbands to begin with or will have a moment of truth down the road when they really deeply regret their attempts at revenge or turning the tables.

3) Happiness is the best revenge. The most important thing for you to consider though is how much a positive attitude and finding your own personal happiness will be the best possible revenge. While most men aren't evil, though it would be much easier to exact your revenge if they were, taking the higher ground and behaving in a manner that is completely above reproach will say more good things about you than you would ever be able to say about yourself no matter how hard you tried. Be the better person and stop looking for ways to get even. You'll be amazed by how much better, happier, and freer you feel than you've felt in a very long time.
